In Sayulita surfing is very common from beginners to advanced level. Backpackers make a mandatory stop in this town to try the area’s favorite sport.
When the sun goes down you will see many people connected in a very positive vibe, some times with live music and even doing group Yoga sessions.
A common question when visiting Sayulita to surf is: Should I bring my own surfboard? Locals in the area tend to hold personalized classes or if you have already surfed before, you can only rent the boards with them.
If you are a fan of Instagram or photography, in Sayulita you will find very colorful spots in its streets, such as the popular Calle Delfines or “Slap Street”. We are sure that you have ever seen a photograph in this place.
Something important to mention is that you will need cash in Sayulita, many places have internet but also other popular places in the area do not have this service.
We recommend visiting Sayulita during the summer, in October and September you are likely to find some rainy nights, so consider it in your travel plan.
